Research and Knowledge Exchange Project Manager

The opportunity
We are looking for a Research and Knowledge Exchange Project Manager to provide specialist support and drive research and knowledge exchange initiatives at London College of Fashion (LCF).
Working closely with the Dean of Research & Knowledge Exchange, you will support academics at all career stages, while developing and securing funded projects that align with UAL's strategic objectives.
You will play a crucial role in mentoring staff as they design and develop projects, enhance their bid writing capabilities, and identify funding opportunities both nationally and internationally.
The position combines strategic thinking with strong administrative capabilities to advance LCF's research objectives, and involves managing key projects, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and ensuring compliance with reporting and governance frameworks.
About you
We are looking for a personable, dynamic and highly motivated individual, who possesses:
- A track record in research development, collaborative research and knowledge exchange partnerships within a Higher Education setting
- Experience of working with the UK and international funding landscape, including experience of reporting frameworks including REF and HE-BCI
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the creative industries, art and design disciplines
- Experience of planning research and development projects
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, including academics and external organisations
