So do we, and so do our clothes.The role The Sales Assistant builds a following of loyal customers, acting as a consultant as opposed to a clerk. This means that in addition to following up with customers promptly and appropriately, the Sales Assistant works to establish a rapport that allows them to determine all of their customers’ needs in order to present the appropriate product to meet those needs.Key responsibilities and dutiesSales GenerationUnderstand key company and personal KPI’s actively seeking to exceed or meet them.Proactively build company and product knowledge to demonstrate understanding to the customer.After closing a sale, monitor all details including shipping, alterations (if applicable) and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction.Continuously enhance sales techniques to drive sales.Comply with all sales related policies and procedures.Take ownership of your role and work to support the store team to achieve goals.Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends.Undertake daily tasks as required by the store management team.Customer ServiceContinuously strive to provide the highest level of customer service.Handle customer enquiries quickly and efficiently and escalate to management where appropriate.Build and maintain client bookEnsure that all new clients information is captured correctly in the POS system.Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.OperationsKeep selling floor and product neat, organised and stocked.Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor.Assist in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocol/policies and all shipping/ receiving related paperwork.Participate in inventories.Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures.Properly execute all relevant register functions.Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance.Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs and meetings as directed by store management.Help monitor store security through vigilant customer service and consistent application of store changing room procedures and tagging.Adhere to all internal audit processes and procedures.Key skills and experience Experience of working in a similar position for a premium or luxury brand.Experience of developing customer rapport to drive sales.Dynamic interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written.Proactive, able to motivate one’s self to meet company expectations.Exceptional time management skills.Demonstrable relationship building skills, able to collaborate and motivate peers.KPI focused, experience of driving sales to meet or exceed commercial targets.Resilient with demonstrable experience of displaying positivity when faced with challenges.Self-motivated with a drive to succeed.Positive and solutions driven attitude.Excellent attention to detail.We regret that due to the high volume of applications we are unable to acknowledge every application.
