Programming Associate Editors are obsessed with writing that perfect headline and creating that perfect presentation for CNNs powerful homepages. This position requires a passion for connecting audiences with compelling journalism and the ability to think like readers watchers and listeners to help connect disparate digital dots for the benefit of global audiences second-by-second minute-by-minute.Your Role AccountabilitiesAssist Senior Editor in curation of daily contentManage updates to storiesBrainstorm story and series ideas on a weekly basisKeep an eye on social trends and digital conversationsExperiment regularly to boost traffic and conversion ratesWrite accurate headlines and alerts with speed and audience appealExercise fast-paced news judgment and CMS workCreate compelling digital packages for distribution across multiple platformsSuggest and help execute programming strategies that contribute to the life of contentHelp execute projects while monitoring audience data and optimising contentParticipate in post-mortems and conversations about improving programmingQualifications & ExperienceProven experience in a related roleExcellent writing and text editing skillsAbility to work quickly under pressure and collaborate closely with othersKnowledge of digital content in multiple forms (articles videos galleries social content interactives podcasts etc.)Experience with audience analytics and A/B testing preferredStrong feedback communication skills and collaborative mindsetFlexibility with hours including nights and weekendsAdditional InformationOn June 9 2025 Warner Bros.
