Key Purpose of the Job
The HR Executive is responsible for supporting the HR and Recruitment Manager in executing HR strategies and initiatives, maintaining employee relations, overseeing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including preparing job descriptions, posting job vacancies, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of HR records and information.
- Collaborate with other departments for HR-related matters.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Prior experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an HR role, preferably within the construction industry.
Other skills (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
