Title:Senior Project Controls SpecialistThe RoleIn this role youll focus on implementing and maintaining effective project controls processes including cost management scheduling and risk tracking. Youll work closely with project teams to ensure accurate reporting adherence to best practices and successful project outcomes.This is a hands-on position where strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. If youre looking to build your expertise in project controls and play a key role in supporting project success wed love to hear from you.LocationLeatherhead 3 days in the officeSecurity RequirementsDue to project security requirements candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance. This typically requires sole British citizenship and no dual nationality.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain cost control systems and coding structuresMonitor budgets commitments expenditures and forecastsPrepare monthly cost reports and variance analysesTrack commercial changes and recommend corrective actionsCollaborate with procurement and finance for accurate cost trackingAssist with earned value management (EVM) reportingSupport schedule updates and progress tracking using tools like Primavera P6 or MS ProjectHelp maintain risk registers and monitor mitigation actionsWhat we NeedExperience in project controls cost engineering or similar disciplineStrong understanding of cost control principles and financial concepts (revenue and cost recognition)Proficiency in Excel and cost management systems (e.g. Deltek Cobra Costpoint SAP MSD) Power BI and MS ProjectFamiliarity with scheduling and risk management practicesExcellent analytical skills attention to detail and clear communicationKnowledge of project lifecycle and delivery methodologiesWhy join UsOpportunity to grow within a dynamic project controls teamExposure to diverse projects across sectorsSupportive environment for professional development and trainingJoin Our Talent CommunityJoin the Talent Network KBR JobsBelong.
