You will collaborate closely with senior management operational teams and other stakeholders within the Finance organisation to deliver financial analysis forecasting and reporting that aligns with the companys objectives.This position requires a deep understanding of the gaming industry strong analytical skills and the ability to influence strategic outcomes.This is a London based role (Hybrid) reporting to PlayStation Studios FP&A Director who is based out of San Mateo CA US.What youll be doing:Lead FP&A processes for selected Studios including Opex budgeting forecasting and long-term planning ensuring alignment with overall business goalsManage Performance Management process on behalf of Production Heads providing commentary for Quarterly Business Reviews and preparing/presenting regular financial reports variance analysis and profitability assessments to Senior Management.Act as advisor to Production Head providing financial insights to support key business decisions.Collaborate with Revenue forecasting team to populate and maintain finance models to support evaluation of investment and present business cases at Greenlight meetingsWork with Value Optimisation team on initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability based on financial analysis.Own and maintain title Opex Trackers providing transparency on title cost to Studio Business Group leadershipManage planning and execution of title development cost capitalisation working with relevant stakeholders to obtain relevant evidence and approvals.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across studio operations finance and other central groups to align financial objectives with operational goals.Participate in cross-functional meetings providing financial insight to influence strategic decisions.Identify and mitigate risks that could impact studios performance and profitabilityManage inspire develop and retain a team of financial professionalsWhat were looking for:BA/BS in business strategy finance economics or related field; MBA and/or CPA designation preferred8-10 years of performance management finance planning and analysis experienceExperience in Live services gaming industry is a strong preference; the role will require deep understanding of challenges and dynamics of operating a performance frameworkSelf-starter showing initiative and ability to work independentlyPassion and energy for working in gaming industryAbility and willingness to do detailed work and complex financial analysisAbility to translate analysis into insights and recommendationsStrong communication and presentation skillsStrong data analysis and financial modeling skillsProficiency in Excel and PowerPointStrong work ethic and confidentiality a mustAbility to work collaboratively in cross functional teamsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects working through uncertainty under various time constraintsBenefits:Discretionary bonus opportunityHybrid working model (FlexModes)Private Medical InsuranceDental Scheme25 days holiday per yearOn Site GymSubsidised CaféFree soft drinksOn site barAccess to cycle garage and showersEqual Opportunity Statement:Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
