The Role

This is an office-based position within a fast-paced yet relaxed atmosphere. You will be part of a busy non-mechanical office team, providing prompt and efficient service to both internal and external customers. Your role will involve maximising all revenue opportunities, managing associated paperwork, and ensuring outstanding customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Capitalize on every chance to increase consumable sales.
  • Manage telephone, email, and in-person inquiries, ensuring the information provided is accurate.
  • Maintain precision in all paperwork related to hire and sales contracts, purchase orders, stock transfers, and asset management.
  • Communicate with the warehouse to verify the availability of equipment needed for hire.
  • Work with Drivers to ensure equipment is delivered to and collected from customers on time.
  • Meet all deadlines for submitting required reports.
  • Follow company Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

You should be well-presented with excellent customer service skills and a professional manner. Experience in the construction sector is not essential, as training will be provided, but strong communication skills and the ability to work in a busy, reactive environment are crucial. A full driving license is required.
