We are seeking a competent, professional office administrator for our busy Nursing Home based in Ilminster. The successful candidate will be well presented and be a pro-active team player, providing administrative support to the Home.

Overseeing the day to day functioning of the office, ensuring administrative processes run smoothly, the responsibilities will include but are not exclusive to:

  • Supporting the sales, finance and payroll input systems
  • Processing pre-admission, admission and discharge documents etc
  • Preparing contracts and invoices for new residents and process fees
  • Creating and keeping departmental records updated (both paper and electronic).
  • Updating the company business website regularly.
  • Taking notes at meetings, succinctly and proficiently to be typed up for records swiftly and accurately.
  • Answering calls, taking messages, booking appointments etc

Essential experience

  • Experienced in fast-paced environments.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written and numeracy skills.
  • IT literate and proficient.
  • Experienced in using Xero or similar software.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Front desk presentable

Suitable applicant will have access to a car with a clean driving license.
