Transport Compliance and Maintenance Officer

Osborne Richardson is partnering with an international food manufacturer to hire a Transport Compliance and Maintenance Officer for their Ipswich location.
In this role, you'll work independently while being part of a collaborative team, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain an effective legal compliance program
- Ensuring ongoing Compliance with the National Heavy Vehicle Law
- Ensuring all Vehicles/Trailers are kept within the Maintenance standards
- NHVAS: Internal reviews & audits & ensure modules are updated & records kept
- Safe Food accreditation is maintained
- Updating the fleet software system to maintain good records of maintenance & compliance
- Working with the fleet allocators to manage the truck &trailer assets
- Coordinating maintenance & repair & ensuring all vehicles are safe for use
- Driver feedback is responded to & actioned swiftly
About you:
- Knowledge of Fleet Systems & Regulations including Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility, Vehicle Mass & Maintenance under NHVR
- Ability to keep abreast of internal/external standards
- Experience in transport or logistics
- Experience working in compliance
- A positive attitude who enjoys working in a close-knit team environment
