Head of Finance Transformation – Hybrid (UK) – Outside IR35The Opportunity:We’re partnered with a leading professional services organisation embarking on a major Finance Transformation Programme centred around the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).They’re seeking an experienced Head of Finance Transformation to take ownership of the end-to-end finance transformation agenda - shaping strategy, driving process change, and ensuring the successful delivery and adoption of D365 F&O across the global Finance function.This is a pivotal leadership role bridging Finance, Technology, and Change, with the mandate to define and deliver a best-in-class operating model for the future.Key Responsibilities:Lead the overarching Finance Transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and D365 F&O programme goals.Oversee the design and implementation of target operating models, processes, and governance structures.Act as the executive bridge between Finance leadership, technology teams, and programme delivery.Drive business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and organisational change across the Finance function.Provide strategic direction to the D365 F&O Finance workstream, ensuring consistency, quality, and control.Establish transformation roadmaps, KPIs, and benefits tracking to measure programme success.Partner with the CFO, programme team, and external partners to ensure delivery excellence.Champion continuous improvement and post-implementation optimisation within Finance operations.Candidate Profile:Proven track record of leading large-scale Finance Transformation programmes within complex, multi-entity organisations.Deep understanding of D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and its impact on Finance processes.Strong background in Finance process design, operating model transformation, and business change.Senior stakeholder management and leadership experience across global or matrix environments.Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on delivery levels.Experience within professional services, consulting, or large corporate settings preferred.Excellent communication, influencing, and governance skills.Track record of delivering measurable value through transformation and technology enablement.Contract: Outside IR35Location: Hybrid (UK)Start: ASAPIf you’re a senior transformation leader with a passion for driving Finance excellence through D365 F&O, we’d love to hear from you.
