The Regional Sales Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for:
- Company activities in order to drive sales growth , forecast accuracy and margin achievement across the instrument and consumable portfolio.
This position is part of the Leica Biosystems Sales unit located in the UK and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
- You will be a part of the Leica Biosystems Sales Unit and report to the Senior National Sales Manager responsible for driving sales growth and the acquisition of new business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assigned yearly budget for designated territory.
- Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization.
- You will be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets.
- Provide the direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring for your sales team to ensure targets are achieved.
- Advance the professional development, professional conduct, effectiveness, and efficiency of your team.
- Track progresses effectively using DBS tools.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Previous people management experience (multi year) with strong management skills to develop a remote multinational team and achieve targets.
- Demonstrated competency in all aspects of developing and driving sales strategy across diverse markets in the UK & Ireland
- Proven track record of sustained understanding and knowledge of Healthcare Sector, introducing complex IT, workflow-changing solutions to Healthcare/Life Science customers.
- A solid understanding of Leica Biosystems market or solutions and the needs they fulfil for customers.
- Establish Standards of Performance for direct reports and set expectations on completion of responsibilities and duties.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Lead and drive a culture of strong customer focus across the region.
- Maintain relationship with key customers and influencers at major institutions in UK & Ireland.
- Collaborative: driving collaboration to achieve results.
