Export Co-Ordinator

A new opportunity has arisen for an Export Co-Ordinator within our global logistics client, who specialise in pharmaceutical and time critical shipments.
This is a permanent role, based in Feltham.
The working hours of Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
You will be working within a small friendly team who have hands-on experience delivering high quality work.
Duties and responsibilities of an Export Co-Ordinator:
You will be responsible for coordinating goods in transport from the UK to International clients.
- Arranging and tracking international shipments, communicating with clients and agents to confirm shipping information and exceed client expectations.
- Preparing shipping documents, packing lists and commercial invoices.
- Communicating with transportation providers to ensure shipments are delivered on time and within set budgets.
- Keeping updated records of all export transactions such as, tracking shipments and preparing reports in shipping costs and delivery times.
- Monitoring the shipments to ensure full compliance and within international trade regulations / laws.
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC Export Regulations and obtaining necessary licenses and permits from UK Exporters.
- Ensuring the storage for time critical and temperature-controlled cargo is stored correctly with both the airline and the facility.
- Liaising with Consular companies to arrange export times.
The Successful Candidate will have:
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written.
- Sequoia CDS / other customs software knowledge
- Close attention to detail
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- DBS Check
£27K annual to start to be raised to 29K after a successful probation.
Four weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
Evening and weekend overtime available following full training.
