THE ROLE: DUTY MANAGER

As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operational running of the whole hotel throughout the evening. You will act as a Manager on Duty and be a point of contact for any issues or guest enquiries should they come up. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Alongside the Hotel Management Team, assist with overseeing the smooth operational running of all departments.
  • Have a complete understanding of budget and targets for your department and ensure the entire team are working hard to achieve them.
  • Be forward thinking and innovative when it comes to ways of working and best practice.
  • Responsible for ensuring that our guest profiles are up to date, room allocation is in line with the Nobu strategy and all VIP banding prepared in good in time for the operation.
  • To meticulously monitor guest reviews and feedback to your team on successes, areas of development, and any potential follow ups.
  • To offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team in all areas.
  • To be excellent at multi-tasking, prioritizing workload, and managing deadlines.
  • Manage and provide direction to all employees on shift with relevant management.
  • To be the point of contact for any escalated complaints or queries.
  • To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
