Welcome to NextPharma.Job Purpose:This role reports to the Formulation Manager and will be required to provide support for the three key areas; Clinical Manufacturing Development materials management and providing assistance within the Formulation Laboratory. The ideal candidate will therefore have a pharmaceutical background and have ideally gained experience within a cGMP FDA and MHRA regulated environment. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Assist scientists in clinical manufactures and other GMP activitiesCleaning of rooms and equipmentSet up of rooms/equipment for clinical manufacturingExecution of GMP documentation (training will be provided)Compliance with GMP (training will be provided)Manage inventoryDisposal of expired materials and ordering excipients capsules reagents laboratory consumables etcReceive label and process materials for development useManage the cleanliness of the laboratorySampling of raw materials for development useAssist scientists in technical batch manufactures and other formulation laboratory activitiesPerform analysis/testing in support of formulation development activitiesPerson Profile: Apprentice Lab TechnicianThe ideal candidate will be:Composed; cool under pressure and energised by challengesHas demonstrable integrity and trust; can present the facts in an appropriate and helpful manner; keeps confidences and admits mistakes Makes good decisions based on analysis wisdom experience and judgementAccomplished at setting priorities; Personal SituationFlexible and able to work extended hours when required.
