Our client based in the Cambridgeshire region is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial agreements which includes supply and service contracts.
Role Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including supply and service contracts.
- Assist in the negotiation and management of pre-litigation contracts.
- Provide legal support on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Engage in construction-related legal work, with the opportunity to develop expertise in this area.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that contracts align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks.
Ideal candidate requirements:
- Newly Qualified (NQ) to 1 year PQE Solicitor (UK qualified), Legal Executive or candidates undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) with at least part one completed.
- Good experience within general commercial agreements having drafted, reviewed, and negotiated commercial contracts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
