This is an opportunity not to be missedReporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Day-to-day running of the payroll, supporting accurate and efficient service
  • Updating systems and spreadsheets with changes for reporting and management information
  • Processing year-end payroll – P60, P11d, PAYE, settlement agreements
  • Completing HMRC returns and updating tax codes
  • Payroll reconciliations, checking and resolving any discrepancies
  • Handling employee queries
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Payroll Administrator / Payroll Clerk / Accounts Administrator / Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator / Finance Assistant
  • Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
  • A keen eye for detail and a desire to investigate issues
