Regional Sales Associate

A leading publisher and SaaS provider of digital primary source collections for the global research and academic community is seeking a Regional Sales Associate. This UK-based role offers the opportunity to develop commercial experience in a global sales environment, working with colleagues across the North American market. The role involves prospecting for new business, re-engaging dormant clients, managing sales pipeline development, and contributing to the execution of sales strategies.Key responsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities across the North American marketEngage and maintain relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs to maximise opportunitiesSupport sales pipeline development and help execute defined sales strategiesCollaborate with colleagues across the North American Sales Team to achieve territory goalsTravel to the US approximately four times per year (around two weeks per trip)Work flexibly to support regular interaction with US-based clients when required.Skills/experienceBachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area (e.g. Arts, Humanities, History, Literature)Some experience in a customer-facing or sales role (internship, graduate scheme, or entry-level)Excellent communication and presentation skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantageWillingness to learn and apply consultative selling techniques.Ability to work flexibly to accommodate US time zones where needed, and willingness to travel approximately 8 weeks per year in the USEquality Policy - Telfer Partners is committed to upholding a professional and impartial recruitment process.
