Project Administrator - Oldham

A leading Service and Installation specialist of Fire & Security Systems in the UK and Europe, is looking for a Project Support Administrator to join them at their Oldham office, as they expand their team.

As the Project Support Administrator, you will provide support to the Projects Managers and Supervisors in the preparation of project file documentation, H&S information and site podiums to enable operations in accordance with CDM.

The client will also consider all applicants who have good, proven Administration skills within a Service / Project engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ordering of kit as instructed by the relevant Manager.
  • Preparation and planning of small works quotations.
  • Communicating with the Project Manager to ensure the timely completion of all project works including asset renewal.
  • Facilitating site deliveries to minimise operational disruption within the customer's premises.
  • Ensuring all project drawings are updated and commissioning documents are completed and returned to the Fire & Security administration team.
  • Responsible for updating and working on the client's portal systems for security projects
  • Preparation of O&M / H&S Manuals following the successful completion of a project.
  • Updating WIP (work in progress) and POW (programme of works) on a daily basis.
  • Booking in jobs with different sites, providing RAMS if required.

Required

  • At least 2 years Administration experience within a busy service engineering department or a similar industry.
  • Good keyboard and communications skills required.
  • Good Knowledge of the projects process
  • Genuine interest in learning about new products, and third-party lines
  • Hardworking and keen to progress within the Company based on your efforts.
