Business Development Consultant (Property)

Location: Brighton

Hours: Mon - Wed 9-5:30pm, Thurs 9-7pm and 5pm finish on Fridays. Working 1 in 4 Saturdays 10-4pm with a day off the following week.

Our client is driven, always evolving and full of energy to succeed. Their business is growing and they are looking for a Business Development Consultant to join their team. You'll be targeted to generate new business, by identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships and matching our services to the client's needs. They take pride in their market knowledge, sharing insights with clients to ensure they get the best possible return on their investment. You'll be conducting both rental and sales valuations, advising clients on the current market, and ensuring the property is positioned correctly to achieve their goals.

Main duties include:

  • Establishing and cultivating positive client relationships
  • Generating new leads via various avenues, including prospecting campaigns, networking, cold calling, door knocking and database management.
  • Conducting valuations and client meetings
  • Using your industry knowledge to help develop less experienced members of the team
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective negotiation skills
  • Ensuring the marketing of your own portfolio is kept to a professionally presented standard
  • Earning industry-recognised qualifications
  • Developing business processes and streamlining procedures

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Professional, friendly and approachable
  • Highly experienced in sales and performing against targets, with a proven track record.
  • Able to positively engage, negotiate and close deals.
  • Innovative, with your own ideas to maximise sales opportunities
  • Organised, efficient and career driven
  • Experienced in the property industry or have an active interest in the Brighton property market.
