Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Leeds as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis. They are ideally looking for someone wanting to study either ACCA/CIMA and will definitely provide training for the right person. Duties and Responsibilities:- Pulling together management packs - Month end preparation including journal processing, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L Analysis, balance sheet analysis - Production of weekly reports to a high standard and within agreed timeframes - Participation in the budgeting and forecast process - Management of the sales / purchase ledgers - Other adhoc finance duties
Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (Office Based)
Type: Permanent/ Full-time
Experience
- Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Demonstrate an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate data and information and use this to take appropriate action.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Assertive and confident and able to quickly build a high level of personal and professional credibility within the business, demonstrating strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, influencing and negotiating at all levels.
- Work effectively in collaboration cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and deliver business objectives.
- A flexible outlook with the ability to use problem solving skills and ‘outside the box’ thinking.
- Introduces creative business solutions and innovative ideas to take the business forward.
- Ability to explain and present complex and / or technical issues clearly, accurately and simply.
- Intermediate I.T. skills
