Page Personnel recruitment are looking for a Finance Assistant to join a legal firm based in Leeds city centre.

**Client Details**

The client are a leading law firm based in the centre of Leeds. This role is hybrid working from home 2 days a week and the company is looking for someone to provide administrative support to our account management team with their day-to-day responsibilities.As account assistant, you will be central to supporting the account manager and account executives with delivering a high level of service to our clients and lawyers. The role will be varied and fast paced at peak times of the month.

**Description**
- Drafting invoices and issuing them to lawyers and clients
- Producing matter listing and billing guides for lawyers to review
- Coordinating and dealing with queries and requests coming into the central account management team mailbox in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitoring and proactively dealing with any client account balances
- Assisting the wider team with the billing process
- Work with the wider team and credit control to keep on top of debt
- Providing support to the account manager and account executives with administrative work required to support their legal teams
- Preparation of any financial reporting required for clients or lawyers

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Ensure the solicitors accounts rules are adhered to.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with lawyers and the finance, secretarial and professional support teams.
- Develop and maintain a good commercial awareness of the practice and clients
- Operating and complying with all firm policies and procedures
- Ensure service standards are adhered to in accordance with the Client Experience and Service Standards
- Willingness to get involved with wider business initiatives (e.g. charitable and social activities)
- Excellent timekeeping
- Coordinating unassigned time and ensuring it is allocated as quickly as possible
- Assist with any financial related projects required e.g. assisting with year-end administration
- Attend team meetings and firm wide events when required to do so
- Provide holiday cover in the absence of other team members

**Profile**
- Finance Assistant experience is desirable
- Basic excel knowledge is essential
- Strong numeracy skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Thrives on a demanding schedule
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to cope with a wide range of demands and changing priorities
- Producing a high standard of work
- Positive attitude and high degree of motivation
- Willing to undertake extra tasks and support colleagues wherever needed
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal colleagues
- A commitment to being part of a successful team. A strong work ethic and flexible with time; willing to adjust and re-prioritise to ensure the needs of the project, task or team are met
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with learning new IT systems (e.g. financial systems)
- Professional, approachable and able to work well with others
