This is a full-time Costs Lawyer - or draftsperson (COP) role with flexibility for remote work. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to undertake a COP costing dealing with technical challenges. Providing technical support to Costs Lawyers. Wider Management information experience is desirable but training here will be provided. The firm have traded for 20+ years and are looking to expand their costs offering beyond their regional costs hubs. 55k and profit share is offered.

Qualifications

  • A qualified Lawyer, Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), or equivalent OR
  • Experience working as a technical specialist in COP costs law.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in quantifying technical challenges associated with Court of protection matters
  • Experience with costs software and/or excel
  • A track record of strong client relationships and excellent people management skills
  • Ability to supervise and mentor team members
  • A detail-oriented approach and a passion law costs.
