Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Motivation:
- Cultivate a collaborative and competitive environment that fosters high performance.
- Recognize and reward top performers to inspire overall team excellence.
- Implement innovative incentives and team-building activities to maintain high motivation levels.
- Set ambitious yet achievable targets aligned with business goals.
Tailored Coaching and Development:
- Use situational leadership to customize your approach to each team member's needs.
- Conduct regular call listening and structured one-on-ones to enhance team performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Resource and Capacity Management:
- Proactively manage team resources, considering factors like holidays and training to ensure sufficient staffing.
- Continuously assess team capacity to distribute inquiries effectively, avoiding overload.
Client Experience and Operational Excellence:
- Embed a culture where exceeding client expectations and going the extra mile is standard.
- Collaborate with sales coordinators and operations to ensure timely invoice delivery and a smooth client experience.
- Handle operational and emergency situations, including out-of-hours work if necessary.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Engage proactively with other managers to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Work closely with Regional Product Managers/Executives on commercial and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with team goals.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience in sales team leadership or management is highly desirable.
- Passion for the travel industry and a strong understanding of the area of specialization.
- Confident communicator who excels under pressure and maintains composure in challenging situations.
- Positive, energetic, and outgoing personality with the ability to lead and inspire others.
- Proven track record in travel sales with a solid understanding of commercial aspects.
- Strong alignment with the company's strategy and motivation to achieve results through the team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
