Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading and most celebrated Facilities Management (FM) providers are looking to develop their central Technical Team dedicated to Accounts within Healthcare, Government and Education.


These are Key Accounts, some of which are newly won, with complex building portfolios of critical and non critical facilities, with ISS providing M&E, Fabric and Project technical works across England, delivered via a mix of mobile and static engineers


To ensure a level of engineering consistency and coherence this Head of Technical will principally focus on using your strong leadership ability to manage your multi account engineering service, ensuring it meets operational, commercial and strategic business needs

This will thoroughly test your management abilities which are crucial to the role,


Once established in post, this role will diversify into an Electrical Authorising Engineer, responsible for AP appointments across your business segment


Therefore, we are looking for an Electrically apprentice qualified Engineer who has progressed into senior leadership posts, possessing highly robust managerial abilities while having the mentality and willingness to explore an AE appointment


This is a fantastic role for a Senior Technical Leader to further develop in a high profile role across a key, expanding business segment of a market leader within the Facilities Management space.


Actions will include:

  • Lead your Technical team to ensure engineering service meets all operational, commercial, H&S and strategic needs
  • Represent the engineering service to the client(s)
  • Support on mobilisations and transformation works
  • Engage in the wider technical community to source new, effective working methods
  • Complete training to become an AE, and subsequently carry out AE duties around SSoW implementation and appointment of APs
  • Ensure Statutory, mandatory and contractual compliance

  • Senior leadership experience, having managed managers
  • A thorough electrical background
  • Willingness to explore an AE appointment
  • Ability to travel across England
