With the power of many curious minds together we can solve the worlds most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:Our UK Resilience Water team are looking for experienced Senior Process Engineers to grow our Design & Engineering Engineering youll create some of the worlds most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us from making journeys easier to opening up public places that bring people together.An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide Optioneering Outline and Detailed design inputs for Frameworks across UK Water Companies alongside major large scale Design & Build projects with our Contractor Partners covering diverse and technically demanding and stimulating projects in treatment process engineering.Our Resilience GBA works to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generationsRole accountabilities:This exciting and challenging role represents a significant opportunity for the right person to showcase their Technical experience and skills to get involved with the south of the UKs future water and environmental improvement schemes and to join the growing Arcadis UK Water Design & Engineering team.Liaison with clients to understand their specific requirementsPreparation of outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction- Ready documentationInputs to the development of Feasibility level design and Optioneering assessmentsPreparation of clear and well-structured design calculations reports drawings and other deliverables including outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction- Ready documentationLiaison with contractors the supply chain and other project stakeholders.Develop the basis of design undertake calculations and other process deliverable.Liaise with other engineering disciplinesEnsure a high standard of safety is achieved and environmental and quality assurance procedures are followed.Mentoring and supporting the development of less experienced members of staff.Qualifications & Experience:Degree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative qualificationChartered or working towards chartership membership of an appropriate Professional body (IChemE or CIWEM)Strong technical design experience on multi-disciplinary projectsSufficient and appropriate experience in process engineering preferably in regulated water but open to other relevant fieldsGood working knowledge and understanding of Water Industry Clients and ContractorsGood motivation influencing and people management skillsKnowledge and experience of BIM led design and other process specific digital toolsGood working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water Specifications.Why ArcadisWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
