Barista Maternity cover

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team in Glenrothes United Kingdom for a maternity cover position. As a key member of our café you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers whilst maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks including espresso-based beverages to the highest standardsOperate and maintain espresso machines grinders and other café equipmentCreate visually appealing latte art to enhance customer experienceTake customer orders and process payments accurately using the POS systemMaintain a clean and organised work area adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsProvide friendly and attentive customer service addressing queries and concerns promptlyAssist in stock management and inventory controlSupport team members during peak hours to ensure efficient serviceContribute to a positive work environment and collaborate effectively with colleaguesQualifications : Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferredExcellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and ability to operate espresso machinesDemonstrated skill in latte art is desirableStrong customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanourProficiency in cash handling and operating POS systemsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidaysFood Hygiene Certificate is preferred but training can be providedPassion for coffee and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiencesAdditional Information : For almost 20 years for every client in every location (whether thats an office stadium cathedral or university) we have created beautiful spaces exciting menus and friendly teams so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.We need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
