Brief:

  • Our Cambridge-based quantum software team is seeking to hire an accomplished Software Engineer for our cloud platform. In this role, you will develop and deliver the cloud infrastructure and application services for our quantum computing platform. You will work closely with our research and software teams to continuously improve the platform's usability and reliability.
  • Key to this role is you will be a competent software engineer with Python, Rust or Modern C++ Coding experience, Combining this with experience of deploying software to cloud based AWS or Azure platforms. Coding will be a significant part of this role.
  • We are looking for candidates who have built and understand very technical scientific software, with cloud deployment experience

Key Skills/Tech:

  • - MSc or PhD in a relevant subject
  • - Coding Language (Python, C++, Rust)
  • - Cloud Deployment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • - Experience building and understanding very technical scientific software

Desirable:

  • - Quantum Computing experience
  • - Experience with Tket or Penny Lane
