Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mechanical engineering expertise to the project engineering team.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects across the site, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Develop concepts into detailed specifications for a wide range of manufacturing equipment.
  • Oversee multiple engineering projects to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-performance outcomes.
  • Create and maintain mechanical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
  • Analyze and validate tenders to ensure best value for the company.
  • Contribute to the safe operation of the site by applying industry-standard risk assessment techniques and issuing safe systems of work permits.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
  • Project management experience within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in design and specification of industrial chemical processes or similar.
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD or Inventor CAD software.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and control capital projects.
  • Experience with industry-standard risk assessment techniques such as HAZOP, FMEA.
  • ATEX and commissioning experience is advantageous.
