As a Principal Wayleave / Surveyor, you will play a key role in securing access agreements, negotiating wayleaves, and liaising with statutory bodies. Your expertise will help resolve land issues, manage compensation claims, and contribute to business growth through strong client relationships and new opportunities.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Ideally RICS-qualified with relevant utilities sector experience.
- Strong knowledge of The Electricity Act 1989 and utility operations.
- Expertise in liaising with landowners, occupiers, and consultees, ensuring smooth negotiations and minimal project delays.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple aspects of the consents process.
- Understanding of rural environments and agricultural practices, applying industry experience to minimise risks and optimise project strategies.
- Full UK driving license and flexibility regarding work type, timing, and location.
