**Role: Senior Marketing Communications and Events Officer**

**Location**:Our head office is based in central Guildford where this role will be based.

**Hours: 37.5 **hours per week, Monday
- Friday*

*_The traditional office-based, 9am - 5pm working day doesn’t work for everyone so some flexibility in contracted hours and hours of work may be possible. If you’re the right person for this role, we will work with you to find the right working model._

**Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum **depending on experience

**Annual Leave**: 33 days pro-rata, inclusive of bank holidays.

**About The Role**

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join the **halow** team in a newly created role as our **Senior Marketing Communications and Events Officer**

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will plan, deliver and further develop our established marketing communications programme, and play a key role in managing our charity-led events. This role is about generating awareness, and developing connections, alongside strengthening **halow’s** income from delivering high-quality events and the opportunities that arise from them.

You will bring at least 3 years’ experience from a similar role, including emotive writing skills, design experience and print management, and a highly organised planning approach to events and marcomms activity.

**To be considered for interview, you must be**:

- Passionate about the outcomes we achieve for people with learning disabilities and autism, to set them up for the next steps in their lives.
- Experienced in event management and marketing communications planning and delivery.
- A clear communicator who is confident to network and pursue opportunities.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines.
- A great team player and a collaborative approach, who is aware of departmental and organisational priorities throughout the year.
- A self-starter with a can-do, positive attitude.

**The nature of this role means that you must be at least 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. Please note we are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship.**

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
