Credit Controller

Our Client, an FMCG sector company, are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Credit Controller on a permanent basis. They have a proven track record in developing talent and providing excellent career progression prospects.


Key responsibilities - Credit Controller:

  • All aspects of Credit Control (including chasing aged debt and setting up new clients)
  • Customer credit checks
  • Management of monthly contract charges and invoices
  • Building relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Proactively chasing and managing customer relationships to ensure issues are raised and resolved before payment is due
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Assist with weekly cashflow forecasting
  • Requirement to assist with other accounts tasks as the role develops.
  • Controls and records customer and supplier invoices


Skills & experience- Credit Controller:

  • Previous experience in a credit control role (+5yrs B2B)
  • Can develop strong working relationships
  • Good communication and organisation skills, plus the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload
  • A strong customer focus and an appropriate level of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable)
