Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchase Ledger Controller to join our finance team at Source Appointments Ltd. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of supplier transactions, reconciling supplier statements, and implementing financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices with high attention to detail and reconcile supplier statements to the ledgers.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of financial processes, systems, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships via communication and assist with more senior members of the team.
- Perform month-end and year-end procedures and participate in annual audits.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and payment of expenses.
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in a similar role with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and administration skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, with proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with using Excel spreadsheets to a basic level would be an advantage.
- Ideal candidate will have GCSE Maths and English and experience of ERP systems.
- Payroll knowledge would be an advantage.
