Transport / Fleet Manager Elite Mobile/ Galaxy Connect, the largest SIM Card distributor in the UK and the fastest Vape brand in the convenience sector is looking for aTransport / Fleet Managerto take charge of our200-vehicle fleetand help us drive greater efficiency across our operations. The Role Reporting directly to the FulfilmentDirector, youll be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of our van fleet. Your focus will be on maximising performance, reducing operational costs, and ensuring our vehicles are safe, compliant, and efficiently utilised. Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of fleet operations, including: Insurance and compliance documentationService scheduling and maintenanceRepairs and replacementsRecovery membership managementFuel usage monitoring and cost controlFleet procurement and replacement planningInvoicing and budget trackingIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure compliance with all regulations.Collaborate with internal teams including Sales and Operations to support business goals.Analyse data and produce reports on fleet performance and expenditure.Handle occasional out-of-hours calls for urgent fleet issues.About YouTo succeed in this role, youll need to bring: Proven experience in Fleet or Transport Management (ideally managing 100+ vehicles).Strong commercial awareness and cost-control experience.Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.Confident decision-making and communication abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).Ability to work independently with a hands-on, proactive approach.Flexibility and a desire to build and shape this role as the company grows.What can you expect from us?
