We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Under Water Systems (UWS) UK team in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.
Security clearance requirements: UK Eyes Only (sole British nationals)

Key responsibilities:
- Bid management of customer initiated change requests
- Monitor and control of change notes to schedule, cost and quality.
- Management of key work-packages within the Main Sonar Control Account
- Risk and Opportunity Management across the programme
- Consolidation and management of all programme Sales Orders on a monthly basis.
- Customer deliveries achieved on time
- Management of Main sonar control account budgets
- Management of Oracle project activities:
- Sales orders
- IPROC approvals
- Driving opportunities through the programme to increase savings/margin
- Risk management and mitigations to maintain budgeted programme performance
- Timely invoicing of Customer milestones
- Programme governance - ensuring appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are rep in place for a programme of this size and complexity with key internal & external stakeholders briefed
- Leadership in identification and capture of future opportunities, maintained through appropriate change management processes
- Management of Customer stakeholders
- Coordination and delivery of monthly progress reporting to customer for whole programme
About you:
- A proven track record of delivering successful projects in a context relevant to Thales
- Leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Managing customer and supplier relationships
- Leading the process of structuring and planning complex projects and the tailored deployment of best practice project controls
- Directing project activities with reference to the baseline and critical path, with a focus on proactive risk and opportunity management and controlling variance to time/cost/quality
- Project financial and contractual management
