As the businesses' subject matter expert for all HSE matters, you will business partner to embed best practice across the organisation.. There is a significant personal development plan on offer for the right candidate. There will be travel to a sister site in East Anglia, with all expenses covered, one day a week. The company premises are to the North of Cambridge City with ample parking.Core duties include:
  • Reporting to Management, act as Company Health & Safety expert supporting the creation, implementation, development, monitoring, and review of safety arrangements
  • Monitoring and enforcement of relevant safety rules and statutory safety requirements.
  • Responsible for the creation, communication, and implementation of safety initiatives
  • Work with any external advisors to ensure the business is working to current best practice for health and safety
  • Act as chair of the Safety Committee reporting to management
