Marketing Assistant

An exciting and holistic opportunity for an ambitious marketing intern who is looking to dive into innovation, events and member engagement at the Audio Foundry. An initiative centered around collaboration and forward thinking, Audio Foundry is a Makerspace and a consortium of like-minded companies looking to create a new paradigm for automotive audio. Bringing the excitement and FOMO to the industry will be a key role you will be required to fulfil.


The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter who is capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and the implementation of marketing projects. You will need to display versatility in order to handle ad-hoc projects as assigned. 


Key responsibilities:


1. Social Media Marketing:

  • create marketing campaign plans for LinkedIn and Instagram that result in high engagement with members, industry, media/press.
  • Identify and implement alternative strategies for engagement.


2. Content Creation

  • Utilize existing brand assets and create content for social media marketing campaigns.
  • Work with Audio Foundry members to create content that represents collaboration, innovation and forward thinking.


3. Events

  • Assist with planning for conferences, trade shows and Audio Foundry events.
  • Create and implement marketing plan for each event.
  • Co-ordinate marketing efforts with Audio Foundry members.
  • Liaising with vendors for booth development / events readiness.



Key Profile, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent or working towards this
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Creative spirit
  • Strong interest in cars and/or audio
  • Motivation to create excitement and FOMO
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with Audio Foundry Members
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or equivalent.
  • Hands-on approach with strong project management skills
