Your new roleYou will be part of a successful finance team working for an inspiring hands on and proactive manager who is passionate about team development
- Set up supplier accounts in ERP
- Receive, record and process all purchase invoices
- Ensure all purchase invoices adhere to purchasing policy and are matched to purchase orders or are authorised, and coded before entering onto the purchase ledger
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Process employee expenses and credit card transactions
- Prepare invoices and expense claims for payment by BACS
- Communicate with service providers for any unbilled amounts
- Setting up bank payments on bank and ERP
- Ensure that all filing/emails are handled accurately and on a regular basis
What you'll need to succeed
- Good working knowledge of a finance ERPsystem and computer tools
- Knowledge of International - Accounting Standards desirable
- Excellent customer service skills and experience of telephone-based support (desirable)
- Good knowledge of computer tools (esp. Microsoft Word and Spreadsheets)
- Good problem solving- and analytical skills
- Ability to support process improvement through strong attention to details
- Ability to undertake multiple tasks at the same time without losing focus
- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organised and structured, able to manage workload and multiple, changing priorities
- Proactive, enthusiastic, a positive attitude towards change & adaptable to meet future needs
