This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.In this role you will:Lead initiatives to actively manage enhance and protect HSBCs reputation on a global scale ensuring alignment with the Groups strategic objectives and values.Stay at the forefront of the external news landscape ensuring Corporate Media Relations is poised to respond swiftly and effectively to emerging issues thereby safeguarding HSBCs interests.Oversee the development and execution of strategic communications and messaging for critical financial calendar events including quarterly results and the AGM ensuring clarity and consistency in all communications.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of key media titles and industry influencers enabling HSBC to target media effectively and enhance understanding of the Groups purpose and strategy.Build and sustain strong working relationships with influential media stakeholders positioning HSBC as a trusted and authoritative voice in the industry.To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:Extensive media relations experience to strategically manage and enhance HSBCs media presence.Ability to establish and nurture effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of social media channels and their uses to complement traditional media strategies.Prior experience of managing and coaching colleagues.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to deliver information to senior stakeholders.This role is based in London Hybrid.Being open to different points of view is important for our business and the communities we serve.
