We're looking for a Production Co-ordinator to join our purpose-driven video production team at Skylark Media. We’re super busy working our vision to use video communications as a force for good and many or our clients are in the green, charity or education sector. We are certified B Corp, which means that we are part of the movement transforming the global economy to benefit people, communities and the planet. 


The role of Production Co-ordinator is to support the production team in the planning, execution and delivery of our projects.  This role involves coordinating everything from pre-production planning to post-production delivery. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 


Responsibilities

Project Support: 


  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of production activities. 
  • Coordinate shoot logistics, including location scouting, talent booking, and equipment rentals. 
  • Help in allocating and managing project resources. 
  • Develop and maintain production schedules 
  • Coordinate shoot dates, crew call times, and production meetings. 
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the company's quality standards and client expectations. 

 

Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production documentation, including call sheets, contracts, shot lists, and production reports. 
  • Managing the crew and talent database  
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits and releases for shoots.  

 

Post-Production Coordination: 

  • Coordinate post-production, including editing, sound design, and colour grading. 
  • Aid in the delivery of final assets to clients, ensuring all deadlines are met. 
  • Participate in project reviews and post-mortems to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned. 


Qualifications

Experience: 


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a production coordination role within video production or a creative agency. 
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. 


Skills: 

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in production management software and tools (e.g. MS Office, Monday.com, Float). 
  • Basic understanding of video production processes and terminology. 
  • Basic knowledge of clearance for TV, Radio, and Cinema 
  • Basic knowledge of talent licensing and usage

  • Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving aptitude. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative. 


Preferred Qualifications: 


  • Degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Experience with budgeting and financial tracking in a production environment. 
  • Knowledge of Bristol's local production resources and networks.
