They are searching for an Associate Director Marketing Communications for a B2B role to support multimarket international programs for several of their clients.


The main client associated with this Associate Director role is a water technology company, with their primary contacts based in New York.


Job Description:

You will play a pivotal role in driving corporate PR initiatives for a prominent international client based in Dublin. This individual will lead a dedicated team, fostering collaboration and creativity to deliver strategic communications campaigns that enhance the client's reputation and achieve key business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the client's goals, leveraging market insights and industry trends to drive impactful campaigns.


  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, cultivating strong relationships built on trust and transparency. Understand client needs, anticipate challenges, and provide strategic counsel to achieve mutual success.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to maximise individual and collective performance.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee the execution of integrated PR campaigns, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple channels and stakeholders. Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and iterate strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, securing high-impact coverage for the client across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Craft compelling narratives and press materials to communicate the client's messages effectively.
  • Crisis Management: Act as a trusted advisor during times of crisis, proactively identifying potential issues and developing strategic responses to safeguard the client's reputation and mitigate risks.
  • Financial Management: Manage account budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial performance in line with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration and cross-functional partnerships with internal teams, including creative, digital, and research departments, to deliver integrated solutions that exceed client expectations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate PR or related roles, with a proven track record of success in managing high-profile clients and complex campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in media relations, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working with international clients or within a global agency environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Dublin market and understanding of local media landscape is a plus
