Position Overview: The Clinical Application Specialist for TAVI Procedures will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, technical support, and education to healthcare professionals in the use of our TAVI products and solutions. This role involves working closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and the clinical team to ensure the successful implementation and optimal use of TAVI technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support and Training:

  • Provide on-site clinical support during TAVI procedures, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals on the use of TAVI products, including pre-procedural planning, intra-procedural guidance, and post-procedural follow-up.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of clinical staff.

Technical Expertise:

  • Serve as the technical expert on TAVI products, offering troubleshooting assistance and resolving product-related issues in collaboration with the technical support team.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in TAVI technologies and procedures, and provide feedback to the product development team for continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and clinical sites, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or questions promptly.

Clinical Research and Data Management:

  • Support clinical research initiatives by providing technical assistance during clinical trials and collecting data on product performance and outcomes.
  • Analyze and report on clinical data to contribute to the evidence base for TAVI procedures and inform future product development.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies during clinical activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and documentation as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Clinical Expertise: Deep understanding of TAVI procedures and cardiovascular anatomy. Your experience can be by either as a cath lab nurse with TAVI procedures experience or if you already are a Clinical Application Specialist with TAVI experience.
  • Your TAVI experience needs to be in the last 2-3 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of TAVI procedures and related technologies.
  • Strong clinical acumen with the ability to interpret and apply clinical data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support healthcare professionals effectively.
  • Ability to travel frequently to clinical sites and customer locations.
