Job DescriptionSenior HR AdvisorLocation: Cookstown Northern IrelandJob Type: Full-time PermanentAttractive salary & benefitsDue to continued growth our leading large fast paced Client in the Cookstown area urgently wishes to recruit and experienced Senior HR Advisor. This is a permanent HR generalist job offering excellent salary and benefitsReporting to the HR Manager the successful Senior HR Advisor will lead HR operations at the Cookstown site which employs circa 90 team members. This stand-alone HR role will have full responsibility for day-to-day HR generalist duties providing customer-focused advice and support to managers supervisors and team members in line with company policies procedures and legal requirements.Top 3 Things to Know About This Job:Lead and manage HR operations within a fast-moving engineering company.Full responsibility for HR generalist duties including recruitment employee relations and performance management.Opportunity to drive change management and employee engagement initiatives to improve business performance.The Role:Build strong relationships with line managers and supervisors to provide proactive HR support and ensure effective HR process delivery.Performance Management: Guide managers to set goals assess team member capabilities and drive performance calibration throughout the performance cycle.Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job creation to onboarding partnering with managers to ensure quality talent acquisition.Employee Engagement & Culture: Lead initiatives focused on change management team member engagement and culture & inclusion.HR Policy Development: Maintain and update HR policies and procedures ensuring they are consistently applied across the site.Absence Management: Proactively manage employee absence and coordinate occupational health provision.Employee Relations: Professionally handle disciplinary and grievance issues ensuring fair and legal compliance.Training & Development: Plan organise and deliver training for team members at all levels to support their development.The Person:HR-related degree (advantageous).CIPD qualified (or working towards) with experience in a manufacturing/engineering/production environment.Strong understanding of NI/UK employment lawProven experience as a true HR Advisor/Business Partner supporting employee relations and managing HR operations effectivelyAdept at working in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coach and advise managers and team members.Strong IT skills particularly in HR systems and reporting (weekly monthly quarterly).The Rewards:Competitive salary and benefits package.Permanent full time roleHours of work Monday-Thursday 8/8.30 5/5.30 & Friday finish at 2.15 pmLeading County Tyrone based organisationExcellent on the job trainingFree car parkingOpportunities for career development within a fast-growing company.Join a dynamic and engaged team within a globally recognised organisation.Next Steps:For more information or to apply for this Senior HR Advisor role please contact Stephanie Mulholland.
