Job DescriptionPart Time HR OfficerLocation: CookstownContract Type: Permanent Part-Time circa 24-25 hours per weekWe are hiring for our client a leading manufacturer in the Cookstown area. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time HR Officer to support the daily operations of their HR department.This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment providing exposure to recruitment employee relations training performance management and HR compliance.Top Things to Know About This Job:Part-time role circa 24-25 hours per weekNew stand alone varied HR role great autonomyWork in a dynamic manufacturing environment supporting both office and factory staffThe Role:Assist with recruitment: job postings candidate screening interview scheduling and onboardingMaintain accurate employee records and HR databasesCoordinate training and development programmes for staffSupport line managers with performance management and employee relationsAdminister HR documentation policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with employment legislationSupport health & safety initiatives alongside the H&S teamParticipate in HR projects including employee engagement and retention initiativesPrepare HR reports and metrics for managementThe Person:Proven experience as an HR Officer HR Assistant or similar roleCIPD qualification preferredSolid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practiceStrong communication interpersonal and organisational skillsAble to handle confidential information with discretionProficient in MS Office and HR systems (HRIS)Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageousThe Rewards:Competitive salary circa 35k pro rataPermanent part time hours (24-25 hours)Exciting new stand-alone HR roleGreat autonomyFree car parkingBased in Cookstown Co TyroneModern office environmentNext Steps:For further information and to apply for this HR Officer role please contact Stephanie Mulholland at Hunter Savage.
