Main function of the role:

Managing communications and marketing to make an impact for EOS (a stewardship service provider) by supporting the team, its clients and its reach across the business and broader marketplace. This will include editing and creating content, managing digital and social media channels, creating marketing collateral and supporting EOS events.


The role will sit within the Federated Hermes Limited Content team, which is part of the wider Marketing department. However the role is dedicated to the support of the EOS business and therefore the job holder will work very closely with the EOS team, especially the EOS client team, to:

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of EOS client communications.
  • Maintain case study pipeline and drive delivery of case studies to clients.
  • Maintain and deliver marketing and promotional materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of key client deliverables such as PRI and UK Stewardship Code questionnaire guidance and client surveys.
  • Maximise the use of marketing channels such as Eloqua, LinkedIn, X and corporate website to enhance brand exposure.


Key tasks and responsibilities (role weighting %):

Communications and content (70%)

  • Compile and edit the monthly client newsletter and other client communications in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Management of engagement case study process and driving delivery by working with engagement professionals.
  • Lead the production of EOS’s PRI and UK Stewardship Code reporting guidance for EOS clients.
  • Lead the annual revisions to the EOS Stewardship Report, working closely with the Responsibility Office to align with FHL’s Stewardship Report.
  • Manage EOS’s digital communications distribution channels (website and social media) to enhance brand and profile.
  • Comply materials via DotApprove (Compliance approval) system.
  • Manage EOS communications via Eloqua, WordPress and Salesforce systems.
  • Act as an ambassador for the house style, being a go-to person for ad hoc proofing and editing.
  • Monitor the engager write-ups queue and assist in the timely publication in accordance with established deadlines.


Marketing materials and systems (30%)

  • Take responsibility for EOS client and business development presentations, keeping them up-to-date and in line with house branding.
  • Develop marketing materials to support distribution as required, in collaboration with the central marketing team.
  • Work with the wider Marketing team to ensure EOS is represented effectively across the broader business.
  • Maintain the relationship with external design agency to create new materials as required.
  • Event support in collaboration with the central Event Management team:
  1. Coordinate EOS client webinars and manage the pipeline (6-9 per year)
  2. Support Events team with running of the biannual EOS Client Advisory Council, leading on event communications internally and with clients.


Experience Required:

Candidates will receive full support and training, but must be an excellent project manager and have good organisational, interpersonal, written, numerical and analytical skills. Attention to detail is critical for this role. Candidates would benefit from experience of working in a professional, fast-paced, client-focused environment in a client service, marketing, or communications role. Any additional experience with mass marketing and CRM platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.


Previous experience of working with an institutional client base is highly desirable.

Must be competent with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Strong literacy, communication skills and command of the English language and grammar are essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

Essential

  • Experience in a marketing/communications/content role in a professional services or commercial environment
  • Experience in editing and creating content across different document types
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong command of the English language and grammar
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail
  • MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)


Beneficial

  • Interest in sustainability, ESG issues or responsible investment.
  • Previous writing or journalism experience
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in regulatory reporting, PRI and UK Stewardship Code reporting
