Role: Project Technician / Vehicle Build TechnicianLocation: Daventry, NorthamptonshireSalary: c£45k (Depending on Experience)On behalf of our Automotive client we are looking for Project Technicians / Vehicle build Technicians who needs to be conversant with prototype and concept vehicle builds.Experience: * Ideally from a Motorsport / Prototype Operations / Product Development background * Experience in any of the following disciplines would be useful: * General Assembly * Powertrain, especially engine build or transmission skills * Chassis sub-assembly * Brake systems * Body In White skills or fabrication * Electrical assembly / instrumentation * Experience in Toolroom facilities and machines would be particularly usefulResponsibilities: * Working in a team of multi-skilled technicians, making sure operational priorities are recognized and deadlines met. * Effective and open communication with Engineers * Raise parts requests to Stores in a timely manner * Assist with prototype documentation * Liaise with key Test Engineers and HVO regarding meeting project timings * Maintain company tools and equipment as supplied * Maintain exceptional standards throughout the workplacePlease note:You will need to be flexible with working hours as sometimes preparing for a test or marketing event is a non-negotiable time constraint.It is also likely that some travel may be required supporting domestic and international test events.**Sponsorship is not available so you must have the full right to work in the UK
