Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a four-month contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our project teams on multiple IT systems initiatives, primarily focusing on financial advice platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial technology, CRM systems, and data integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Analysis and Documentation:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing IT systems and projects within the firm.
- Specifically, analyse systems such as Xplan, Intelliflo, Salesforce, and Iress.
- Document and map out business processes, highlighting the use of these financial advice platforms.
- Client Interaction Tracking:
- Investigate and document the frequency and regularity of client interactions managed by financial advisors.
- Identify and describe the current manual processes used, including the use of different CRM systems and manual spreadsheets.
- Data Source Mapping:
- Identify all data sources utilized across the firm's various platforms and systems.
- Detail the number of data sources (approximately 5 or 6) and their respective formats.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Gather and consolidate business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams to define and document the requirements for system integration and process improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive requirement documentation to be handed over to the internal development team for execution.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, particularly with financial advice platforms and CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of IT systems and data integration in a multi-platform environment.
- Experience with financial advice software like Xplan, Intelliflo, Salesforce, and Iress
- Excellent documentation and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex processes and data into clear and actionable insights.
- Familiarity with data management and the ability to map out data sources and formats effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including financial advisors and IT development teams.
Contract Details
- Location: On-site in London, with the potential for some remote work.
- Inside IR35
- Duration: 4 months, with a start date as soon as possible.
- Compensation: Competitive daily rate
