DescriptionMake a Real Impact as an SEN Functional Skills Tutor.WearelookingforapassionateandexperiencedSENTutorwithaproventrackrecordofsuccessinteachingFunctionalSkillsMathsandEnglishatEntry Level1. .This job is in person in the Milton Keynes areaHour(s): 1 hour per week building up to 3 hours per weekDay(s) and Time(s): Wednesday 2pm - 3pmSubject and Level: Maths and English Functional Skills - Entry Level 1Start date: Immediate startWhat Youll DoDevelop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study levelAssessing any barriers to students learning and working to overcome theseMonitoring student progress and producing reportsCreating a positive and supportive learning environmentMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition inRegularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes ManagerRequirementsWere looking for someone who has:A Bachelors degree2 years of tutoring / teaching experienceExperience working with students with SEMH NeedsExperience working with students with SEMH NeedsAn ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRight to be self employed in the UKBenefitsWhat We OfferA friendly dynamic team that values collaboration and personal growthThe opportunity to make a difference in the lives of studentsCompetitive hourly rate: 30 per hourAbout Tutors GreenOur mission is to provide first-class tuition primarily for disadvantaged students through discounted and pro-bono services across the UK.
