Workshop Team Leader

Ensure the day-to-day efficient & productive running of the engineering team within the designated area. Playing an active part in the leadership of the team by being the first point of contact with the Engineers for all issues dealing with these issues where possible and escalating to your direct management where appropriate.We offer:To ensure continuous communication between the team leader and service controller to maximise the efficient day to day running of the team.To ensure KPI management of the team and make adjustments and additions where required.To manage third party supplier on site and throughout supply process.Ensure high team morale and individual team member acknowledgement is maintained at all times.To support the Service Manager for the planning and completion of annual engineer appraisals and training plans in conjunction with company guidelines.To be responsible for providing cover for breakdowns and service on customer FLTs where required.To take on any additional duties as required to ensure smooth running of the department & any other duties which arise as a result of the above which are within your capacity skill and expertise.Attend all team and individual meets as requested.Attend all training as deemed necessary to carry out your responsibilities.Ensure on-going self- development commensurate with the position held.Ensure that the company standards and policies are maintained particularly with regards to behavioural and commercial dealings.Observe all Health Safety and Environmental procedures on Company Supplier and Customer sites.Comply with Company Health and Safety policy.Ensure all activities meet with our KION Code of Compliance.Tasks and Qualifications:InterfacesInternal:SalesServiceRentalWorkshopManagementHRNNCsBasingstokeExternal:CustomersContractorsSuppliersRequired functional competencies / experience / qualificationsRecognised engineering qualificationStrong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholderBeing able to understand processes and work in a structured way following defined processesIT skills will include a good working knowledge of SAP K1SS Microsoft Word and Excel.Planning (self-organisation) and organisational skillsTeam player honest reliable and approachable Key Skills Crew Management,Airside Operations,General Services,ABAP,End User Support,Jboss Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
