About The Role:

An internationally celebrated architectural practice are looking for a confident and dynamic Communications Lead to join their successful and growing team in their Newcastle office.

Within this role, you will be working closely with a small team of professionals to create communication strategies that succeed in bringing the company’s concepts to life. You will be working towards building the client’s brand identity by establishing fresh and original strategies through understanding the relevant sectors by piloting online, social media and print campaigns.

This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who values organisation, professionalism and creativity and can prioritise tasks accordingly whilst still being flexible to the expectations of working within a reputable practice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee brand presence across internal and external audiences, including clients, collaborators, and industry peers
  • Collaborate with graphics, communication, and project teams to produce impactful content and pitches
  • Manage and schedule content across media channels and email campaigns according to project strategies
  • Spearhead internal communication efforts
  • Lead copywriting for online, print, and social media, with occasional support on bids and competition entries
  • Demonstrate a proactive and confident approach in a dynamic, multi-sector environment

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the built environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong digital communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to new project challenges and industry themes
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable presenting at a high level
  • Genuine interest in market research and the design/built environment sectors
