About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Fundraising Ambassador. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in helping us to reach and support more people affected by dementia than ever before.

Your primary responsibility will be to volunteer with our fundraising teams to raise awareness in your local community and assist our supporters in raising funds. You will help us identify potential new supporters, build brand awareness, and inspire people in your local area to learn more about dementia.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will be responsible for engaging with our supporters in various ways, including attending events, cheque presentations, and helping with bucket collections. You will also assist in identifying opportunities to raise funds and awareness in your local community.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference and has a strong desire to help others. If you are a team player who is comfortable working in a variety of settings and can spare a few hours now and then or more regularly, we would love to hear from you.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing help and hope to everyone affected by dementia in the North East. You will have the opportunity to work with our front-line services, which provide support to people in our communities and online.

We are committed to funding research and campaigning for change in dementia care and support. However, we need your help to fundraise to be able to provide these services. By supporting amazing individuals, businesses, and groups who fundraise for us, you will be making a real difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer with our fundraising teams to raise awareness in your local community
  • Assist our supporters in raising funds
  • Identify potential new supporters and build brand awareness
  • Engage with our supporters in various ways, including attending events and cheque presentations
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to raise funds and awareness in your local community
